Estate documents did not include children born after the documents were created?

When someone dies and they have not updated their documents to include children that were born after the date of the documents, in most cases, the children will be able to inherit what is called their "intestate share."

They will likely be able to take a forced share of the estate, however, they may have to pursue this through the courts and they may have to get a court order to make that happen.
