It's not necessary to put your car in the trust. Almost every state has provisions that allow the car to pass at death using an affidavit procedure through the DMV, meaning it does not have to go through probate. We've found that transferring cars to the trust can cause some confusion with your car insurance.
So leave the cars out of the trust.
