You should not attempt to do a real property deed on your own.
Once a deed is recorded it is a public record. If you have made a mistake, if you have done something that has a bad income tax, capital gains tax, or property tax impact, it can be very difficult and costly to change it.
This is something you need to have an attorney do for you or a title company do for you.
Most deeds will not cost you more than a couple hundred dollars to have properly prepared, properly recorded, and to ensure that you do not have an unintended tax consequence and that you do not make a mistake on the legal descriptions.
